Effective September, 7, 2019: Per the statute of the Orthodox Church in America, the office of the bishop of the Albanian Archdiocese was declared vacant with the death of Archbishop Nikon. On November 17, 2022, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon named Archbishop Mark of Philadelphia and Eastern PA, as the Locum Tenens of the Albanian Archdiocese for the immediate future.
