Mother's Day - 2021On Thomas Sunday, which was Mother’s Day in the US, we recognized with special prayers our mothers, godmothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters, nieces, step-mothers, and all those special women in our lives. Prayers for both our departed and living mothers were offered at two times during Divine Liturgy; once at the Great Entrance and a second time at the end of the service.
