As we did in prior years, over the next 3 months (from November 2025 through mid-February 2026), St. George will be collecting frozen hams and turkeys. They can be placed in the church's freezers located in the Church Hall Storage Room. 

This charity project's intent is to donate the hams and turkeys to local soup kitchens during February 2026 - this is typically when food donations are low.  Sunday, FEb 15th is the last day to donate.

Many grocery stores have sales for thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's - this week (2 weeks before Thanksgiving), Stop & Shop had frozen turkeys for $0.49 per pound.
