On Sunday, March 23rd, St. George welcomed and thanked Fr. George Coca for serving Divine Liturgy for us on the Veneration of the Cross Sunday, the 3rd Sunday of Great Lent.  Fr. George recently retired in December 2025 as the parish priest of St. Dimitrie Church in Easton (Romanian Archdiocese). Curt Dionis, on the behalf of the St. George parish, gave Fr. George a epigonation (a shield– part of his vestments) that was made with an embroidery of St. George.  The epigonation denotes the celebrant as a soldier of Christ.
