Celebrating Palm Sunday - 2023On April 9th, St. George celebrated Palm Sunday, which marks the Entrance of the Lord into Jerusalem. After Divine Liturgy, there was a procession of palms lead by some members of the Church School, and the blessing of the palms which were held high by the parishioners. This year, due to difficulty acquiring pussy willow branches, a mix of pussy willow branches, boxwood branches, and palm fronds were bundled for blessing. Thanks to Donna Kerma for providing the pussy willows.
